How it works

Bio-remodelling involves the use of a low and high concentration of ultra pure hyaluronic acid. It is the latest anti-aging treatment to promote the remodelling of ageing or sagging skin tissue. It is specially formulated molecular composition helps it to spread uniformly like honey under the skin once injected. It triggers a ‘bio-remodelling’ process. The skin is instantly hydrated, and collagen and elastin production is increased. This will result in improved skin quality, firmness and elasticity.

The Procedure

Bio-remodelling is injected into blebs that then spread underneath the skin, stimulating tissue rejuvenation from beneath. 
Over time, patients will notice an improvement in the appearance and texture of their skin, especially around the eyes and jawline. Most people feel the difference in their skin before they see it, but over time, the improvement in skin quality can be quite remarkable. This treatment is for patients who want to improve skin laxity and overall quality, but don’t need or want volume or reshaping.

What does it treat?

Bio-remodeling injections are injected into 5 main areas on each side of the face. The injections are superficial and well tolerated.

This treatment will improve four pillars of optimal skin quality:

  • Skin Hydration - deep tissue hydration
  • Skin elasticity - the bounce back
  • Skin laxity - volume and firmness
  • Skin smoothness - reduced wrinkles

Are bio-remodelling injections different to dermal fillers?

Bio-remodelling injections have a unique composition of hyaluronic acid that spreads uniformly into the skin, without adding volume. The compound also stimulates important receptors in the skin that lead to longer lasting improvements in collagen and elastic synthesis. The intense improvement in hydration can be seen early on in treatment and a more gradual improvement in laxity and smoothness of the skin occurs over a few months.

What can I expect?

All results are evidence based (based on clinical trials) 

  • After 1 Treatment: Significant improvement in skin hydration 
  • After 2 Treatments: Significant improvement in skin elasticity 
70% of people showed improvements in at least one grade of the facial volume loss scale after 2 treatments. After the 2 treatments, there is significant improvement in satisfaction with skin appearance.

How long do results last?

Results can vary for each patient can can depend on several factors. 
The typical treatment protocol involves an initial 2 treatments, spaced approximately 4 weeks apart. It is recommended that treatment is repeated approximately 6 monthly thereafter, at the discretion of the patient. This will be discussed in more detail during your consultation.
An additional 'top up' treatment is recommended every 6-12 months. The timing will differ between individuals and is dependent upon your age and many lifestyle factors.
You may experience mild stinging or burning when injected. You will experience small, localised bumps where the product is injected, this is the product beneath the skin. It is no cause of concern and a normal part of the procedure. The bumps will disappear within a few hours.

Our registered nurses offer this treatment on a Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. An initial consultation is $85 and can be put towards the procedure cost if you elect to have the treatment on the same day as your consult.
