Are you struggling with Redness or rosacea?
Take our 30-second quiz to find out if our tailored, dermatologist-led medical and laser management treatments are right for your skin concerns!
What Is Vascular Laser?
Our Vascular laser (DermaV by Lutronic) is the latest generation laser technology designed with input from leading dermatologists and has superior power and performance in treating vascular and pigment concerns.
The DermaV uses clinically proven wavelengths of either 532nm (green light) or 1064nm (infrared) to deliver energy which is absorbed by blood vessels, melanin (pigment) and/or deeper layers of skin (collagen).
The laser energy achieves results by heating the target tissue to shrink unwanted blood vessels, reduce pigmentation or inflammation, and stimulate collagen production
This vascular laser has an in-built cooling system for superior comfort and safety.
Book a consult to discuss your redness or rosacea concerns with either our Dermatologist or highly experienced Registered Nurses. If medical treatment is required a consultation with the Dermatologist is needed.
At HCDL all laser or light-based therapies are performed or directly supervised by your treating dermatologist.
Incredible Before & After Images
Why do we recommend Laser management for Redness?
Why Laser Is Effective for Redness?
Persistent facial redness is often caused by underlying vascular conditions such as rosacea, sun damage, or broken capillaries. Laser treatments, particularly vascular lasers are highly effective in targeting these visible blood vessels without damaging surrounding skin. Laser energy is absorbed by the blood vessels, causing them to collapse and gradually fade, leading to a more even, calmer complexion over time.
Dermatologist-Led Care for Optimal Results
At Hunter Coast Dermatology & Laser, all laser treatments are guided by specialist dermatologists who assess the cause of your redness and tailor the laser settings to your skin type and condition. This level of expertise improves outcomes and ensures any underlying skin conditions are also properly managed prior. Dermatologist-led care offers safety, precision, and long-term results.
Access to Medicare Rebates
When redness is linked to a diagnosed medical skin condition—such as rosacea or birthmarks—laser treatments may be eligible for Medicare rebates when performed by a dermatologist. Our team can guide you through eligibility and treatment planning to ensure the best approach for your skin health.
